Introduction
This is a review of the Nespresso Infinitely Gourmet Hazelnut Flavor, which is a Festive Limited Edition release for the year 2022. Nespresso only mentions the coffee beans used in the coffee come from South America and are arabicas. All of the 2022 Festive coffee were designed by Pierre Hermé, a famous French pastry chef and chocolatier.
Aromas
The Nespresso Infinitely Gourmet Hazelnut Flavor has a very light vanilla aroma to it, and possibly more like vanilla aromas and light hazelnut aromas. It is a very nice aroma. It also has a nice thick bubbly crema, it is also thick in the mouth.
Taste
The Infinitely Gourmet Hazelnut Flavor has an awesome hazelnut flavor to it. I’m really amazed, because yes it does indeed taste exactly like hazelnut (filberts). I also get slight biscuit like notes. This is an incredibly nice tasting flavored coffee. Normally I don’t like flavored coffee, but this one is really, really good. It has some light acidity notes and light bitterness, my guess is probably an intensity of 7 (maybe 8). The acidity notes do seem to persist after drinking the coffee.
Result
The Nespresso Infinitely Gourmet Hazelnut Flavor is extremely nice hazelnut flavored coffee. If you like hazelnut, then you are just going to love this coffee! Definitely a winner coffee! NOTE: If you don’t like acidity notes, you might want to pass on this one.
