Introduction
This is a review of the Starbucks by Nespresso Blonde Espresso Roast for the Original Line Nespresso machine. This coffee can be brewed as either a Ristretto size or Espresso size coffee. This coffee uses 100% arabicas from Latin America and has 5.3 grams of coffee per capsule.
Aroma
The Starbucks by Nespresso Blonde Espresso Roast has an almond like aroma to it, or possibly toasted cereal notes. The aroma is very light.
Taste
The Starbucks by Nespresso Blonde Espresso Roast is sweet on the tongue. There is also a sour aftertaste that appears after sipping it. This is a very mellow roast. The sourness lingers, which is not that desirable. I’m also not getting any other tastes than sweet/sour to the coffee, so there is no real character to the taste of the coffee.
Result
Because of the sour aftertaste and no specific character taste, the Starbucks by Nespresso Blonde Espresso Roast is personally not a desirable coffee. I tried brewing both as a Ristretto and Espresso size, and the sour aftertaste is still predominant.
