Introduction

This is a review of the Nespresso Volluto Decaffeinato coffee capsule for the Original Line machine. The Volluto Decaffeinato is a decaffeinated version of the Volluto coffee capsule. The coffee used is arabicas from Brazil and Colombia, using a split roast technique of a short roast and long light roast. This coffee is intended to be brewed as an Espresso size cup.

Aroma

The Nespresso Volluto Decaffeinato has a strong fruity/flowery smell and also a toasty smell. It is a very pleasant aroma.

Taste

The Nespresso Volluto Decaffeinato has a light sweet flavor and tastes maybe like peach. A light bitter taste will hit you afterwards, but you taste it about 2 seconds later and it is a nice flavor.

Result

I personally find the Volluto Decaffeinato tastes better than the Apreggio Decaffeinato, the Apreggio Decaffeinato is not as good as the caffeinated version. The Volluto Decaffeinato does have character, and the bitter after flavor is very nice.
